Mary Barnes
Mary Frankie Barnes, 82, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in a local hospital.
A native of Franklin County, Tn., she had spent most of her life in Chattanooga and was a member of the Spring Creek Road Church of God.
Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Roy Barnes in April, 2008.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Ronny Suits, Dunlap, Tn., and Ruth and Rick Benton of Harrison, Tn.; sons and daughters-in-law, Carson and Beth Barnes, Soddy Daisy, and James and Glenda Barnes, East Ridge; sisters, Laura Ivens of Atlanta, Ga., and Louise Steele, Chattanooga; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Benny Mills officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4–8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
