Zach Wamp, who is seeking to become the first Chattanoogan to serve as governor since J.B. Frazier, on Saturday greeted longtime friends and supporters at his new Hamilton County campaign headquarters.
He said, “The numbers of folks we have volunteering now and the response we are getting to our 20/20 Vision to help create an even better Tennessee, have been very strong and extremely gratifying, so we have accelerated our plans and we will be opening three new campaign offices to help support and organize our volunteers and to rally even more support."
He said the office at 518 Georgia Ave. is the first regional campaign office, but new headquarters in Nashville and Memphis will follow soon. All are to be open by the middle of February.
The Georgia Avenue site is the same location used by Senator Bob Corker during his successful 2006 Senate race.
