Doris Ann Ryals, 58, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at her residence.
She was formerly employed by Erlanger Hospital and was a member of New Horizon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Yearby; father, Pastor Wilbert Harlin; mother, Geraldine Ryals; and brother, Emmett Williams.
Survivors include her son, Eric (Karessa) Yearby; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Yearby; grandchildren, Simone Watson-Yearby, Jakeiva, Jamesha, Chason and Jalean Yearby, Markese and Larry Kidd; great-grandchildren, Zion, McKenzie and JaRiayh; sisters, Mary (Eugene) Todd, Emma (Willie) Williams, Alice Hines, Louise Ryals Walker, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Clarence (Betty) Ryals, Andrew (Cheryl) Ryals, Larry (Calvereen) Ryals, all of Chattanooga and Ernest (Deloris) Williams, of Goose Creek, S.C.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; dear friend, Shirley Ryals and many other friends.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, Dec. 23, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Willie Paul officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 22, from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
