Adalene Weese Bell, 86, died on Thursday, April 1, 2010.

She was a resident of Chattanooga from 1967 until a year ago when she moved to Gray, Ga. Mrs. Bell was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church and was a former missionary in Brazil.

Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie McAllister of Gray; son, Richard Wesley Bell Jr. of Augusta, Ga.; brother, Wightman Weese of Wheaton, Il.; one granddaughter, Stephanie Sealey; five grandsons, Luther Allin, Chad Allin, Jeremy Allin, Matthew Allin and Richard Bell; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 5, at Lane Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Visitation is from 10-11:30 a.m. on Monday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossworld, 10000 N. Oak Traffic Way, Kansas City, Mo. 64155-2010.
