The Georgia Winery’s 27th Annual Grape Stomp will unveil a new wine for Tennessee fans on Oct. 2 from noon to 4 p.m. The winery is located at 6469 Battlefield Parkway in Ringgold.
The new wine, Tennessee tangerine, is a combination of muscadine wine and tangerines. Grape Stomp festival attendees will be the first tasters of this unique wine.
The Annual Grape Stomp is an event designed for families and adults to celebrate the harvesting of muscadines while bringing the community together. Attendees can enjoy wine tastings, hayrides, live music and activities for children.
This year’s stomp will host a tribute to winery founder, Dr. Maurice Rawlings, who died earlier this year. A wine named in his honor, Rawlings Ruby Red, will be distributed with his autographed tag.
Admission for the event is $7. The event is free for attendees wearing their Georgia Winery Cows T-Shirt.
