American Heroes Dinner Is July 11

  • Thursday, June 5, 2025

The Honoring the Sacrifice Foundation will host the 11th Annual American Heroes Dinner on Friday, July 11, at the Chattanooga Convention Center. The patriotic evening supports severely wounded veterans and their families.

The keynote speaker will be Johnny "Joey" Jones. During Mr. Jones eight years of service, he worked as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician, deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan. During his last deployment to Afghanistan, his team destroyed nearly 80 improvised explosive devices (IEDs), along with thousands of pounds of other bulk explosives. On Aug. 6, 2010 he stepped on and initiated an IED, resulting in the loss of both of his legs with severe damage to his forearm and wrists.

Mr. Jones is now an in-demand contributor across all FOX News Media platforms. The New York Times best-selling author is a rotating host for several shows including the Fox and Friends franchise.

Proceeds from this event support the mission of the Honoring the Sacrifice Foundation. The Honoring the Sacrifice team is committed to meeting the unique needs of catastrophically wounded veterans and their families.
