Craig Sarine, administrator of University Surgical Associates, was installed as President of the Chattanooga Medical Group Management Association. Other officers include: Linda Maxey, Chattanooga Urology Associates, Vice President; Robin Elrod, Center for Pulmonary Sleep Disorders, Secretary; Cathy Faulkner, Peerless Pediatrics, Treasurer; Misty Hickman, OB/GYN Center of Excellence, Membership; Laura Watkins, Chattanooga Family Practice, Immediate Past President; Bill Gotschall, Excel Graphic Services, Associate Member Representative; and Rae Bond, Chattanooga-Hamilton Medical Society Liaison.
The Chattanooga Medical Group Management Association (CMGMA) was formed in the spring of 1983 as an organization whose primary mission is to improve office practices and procedures in the medical field. The demands on medical managers continue to change dramatically. Traditional management approaches are constantly being challenged, and changes within the medical field continue to occur at an ever faster pace. CMGMA provides an environment for professionals to improve their skills, increase their knowledge, and broaden their managerial and leadership perspectives.
