Ruby F. Page, of Chattanooga, precious mother of Dorris and Jackie, died on Sunday, November 27, 2011.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Page; mother, Ethel Mears; father, Freeman Fowler, Sr. and brother, James Fowler.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dorris and Buddy
Fisher, Knoxville, Jackie and Ret. Col. James Brandon, Indianapolis; brother, Ed Fowler; grandchildren, Major Victor (Dana) Ledford, San Antonio, Tx., pastor Anthony (Eleanor) Brandon, Baker City, Or., Keith Brandon, Indianapolis,
Kelly Helton, Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Wesley (Allison) Ledford, San Antonio, Jeffrey Ledford, College Station, Texas, Erin and Shean Brandon, Baker City, Jacob and Jordan Brandon, Indianapolis, and Grant Helton, Knoxville.
Ruby will be lovingly remembered for the years she cared for children at Family Center in Highland Park, Brainerd United Methodist Church Childcare, and many other childcare facilities. Her true talent was loving and caring for children; teaching, preparing them for a bright future.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 2, in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Anthony Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30–1:30 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga.
