Robert A. "Tony" Cahoon, 52, of East Brainerd, died on Friday, December 23, 2011.

He was formerly employed by Tally Construction, Vulcan and Kleenco Construction and was a former member of the Elks Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Cahoon and stepfather, Nick Kane.

Survivors include his mother, Eleanor Kane, daughters, Bridget Tuck and Paige Cahoon Holladay, two grandsons, brother, Kenny Cahoon, half-siblings, Amanda Ward, Lisa Cahoon and Allen Cahoon, stepbrother, Nick Kane, Jr., nephews, K. C. and Kris Cahoon and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with the Reverend Ed Craft officiating. Pallbearers will be his close friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 26, from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lakewood Memory Gardens, South to the Robert A. Cahoon Memorial Fund.
