John E. Tapp, II, MD, FACP, an internist with Parkridge Medical Group - Diagnostic Center, has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the society of internists.

The ACP Fellow distinction recognizes achievements in internal medicine, the specialty of adult medical care. Dr. Tapp was elected to Fellowship upon the recommendation of peers and the review of ACP’s Credentials Subcommittee.

A graduate of University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Dr. Tapp earned a medical degree from University of Tennessee, Memphis and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine - Chattanooga Unit.

He is affiliated with Parkridge Medical Center and certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Tapp lives in East Brainerd. He and his wife, Stacy, have two children, Mattie and Macy.
