  • Wednesday, May 9, 2012

CodeScience Inc. will celebrate its new office headquarters grand opening on Thursday, at 4 p.m. The business is at 100 Cherokee Boulevard, Suite 320 in Chattanooga. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce will be coordinating the opening ribbon cutting ceremony.

Co-founded by Tim Youngblood (Chattanooga) and Mike Witherspoon (San Francisco, Ca.), the company has been incorporated since 2010 and has developers and project managers in Atlanta, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Knoxville. In January of this year, the company moved its headquarters to the Scenic City.

"We couldn't be more pleased to select Chattanooga as our base. This great city has all of the right elements in place that makes it the optimum centrus for a technology solutions company like ours," said Mr. Youngblood, Chief Technology Officer. "We are fortunate to have a resource such as the Chamber’s Business Development Center (BDC) here in Chattanooga. The decision to re-center our existence was a done deal once we learned of the resources and synergy available to us here through the BDC."

CodeScience has brought on three local full-time employees in the first three months of operation in Chattanooga. "We started this company with a focus on quality and client success first. The response to that philosophy, and an improving economy, give us a strong growth outlook over the next couple years. We are excited to fill this space with our expanding team.,“said Mr. Witherspoon, Solutions Architect & co-founder.
