For the second year in a row, an American Idol star will be making a visit to AT&T Field. In conjunction with US-101, Scotty McCreery, who won the tenth season of American Idol, will be in attendance and throwing out the first pitch on June 22nd.

The 7:15 PM scheduled game against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos will also feature post-game fireworks, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a 2012 Lookouts baseball card set, courtesy of Hardee’s.

On May 25, 2011, McCreery edged out local contestant Lauren Alaina to win that season’s edition of American Idol. During the “Top 3” round, Alaina visited AT&T Field as a part of her hometown celebration. After winning the competition, McCreery went on to record his debut studio album, Clear as Day, which has sold over a million copies and has been certified platinum.

Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance for this event. Tickets for this game or any other Lookouts home game can be purchased at the Lookouts Box Office at AT&T Field, online at www.lookouts.com, or by calling (423) 267-4849.
