  • Thursday, June 7, 2012

Manker Patten Tennis Club is excited to partner with the Tennessee Riverwalk and Outdoor Chattanooga, June 7-10.  It’s an opportunity to experience hiking or biking on the Tennessee Riverwalk as a participant, and then relax and enjoy the Icy Hot TVOC tennis tournament as a spectator.  Free bike rack usage is provided at Manker Patten Tennis Club.  It’s fun and free!

Manker Patten Tennis Club is located directly on the Tennessee Riverwalk. Enhance your hiking or biking Tennessee Riverwalk experience by stopping at 100 Douglas Street, Chattanooga, Tn.

With the downtown location and being close to UTC, it’s a great opportunity for the public to view the Icy Hot TVOC $13,000 prize-money tennis tournament. It’s fun and free!

Matches are June 7-June 10 with play ranging from men's and women's open to 75s and under.

“Strawberries and Cream” are served for the finals on Sunday morning! Matches start at 8:30am and continue throughout the day and evening daily.  Sunday matches start at 9 a.m. with the women's open singles final followed by the men's open singles at 11 a.m. and the various age division finals.

If you, your family, or friends, have never been to a tennis tournament, or to the US Open in New York City, take this opportunity to experience tennis matches close up…let it be your US OPEN experience at the club level!

Manker Patten Tennis Club has been awarded the “USTA Outstanding Facility of the Year”, and the public is invited to tour the clubhouse, renovated indoor courts, and 13 outdoor courts.  Bring your family, and see the “family court”…a USTA “10 and under” tennis court for children.   (www.10andundertennis.com)
