Phyllis Harden Oliver, 85, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

She was born in Chattanooga, to the late Frank and Ora Harden.

Phyllis graduated from City High School in 1958. She worked in the business office at Erlanger Hospital for 39 years before retiring. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church and the Bible Searchers Class.

She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Oliver, daughter, Angie (Van) Shumaker, two sons, Tim (Melanie) Oliver and Phillip Oliver, four grandsons, Brock (Michelle) Oliver, Bryn Oliver, Ryne (Morgan) Shumaker, and Reese Shumaker, five great grandchildren, two sisters, Shelia Harden, and Carolyn Gilliam, two brothers, John (Arlee) Harden, Charles Harden, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., on Sunday, June 15, at Greenwood Baptist Church, 8529 Snow Hill Road, Ooltewah, Tn. 37363, with Pastor Toby Brogden and Wayne Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Old McDonald Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, and from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, at the church.
