Sandra Burkhart
Sandra Kathleen Burkhart, 63, of Soddy Daisy, died on Friday, January 4, 2013 at a local hospital.
She was a member of Straightway Holiness Church where she taught the Lady’s Club at the church and published the church bulletin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Dorothy Thompson, brother, Buster Thompson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Charles Burkhart, son, Chuck (April) Burkhart, daughter, Mechelle Burkhart, grandchildren, Stephon, Jake, Brittany, Josh, Ashley.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Aaron Simmons and the Reverend Troy Simmons officiating. Interment will follow the service at Browns Gap Cemetery on Sand Mountain.
Family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, at the funeral home.
