Edna Mae Logan, 83, of Dayton, TN, passed early Monday morning, October 14, 2013 at her home.
She was born March 16, 1930 in Dayton and was a cook at Pierce’s Restaurant for 30 years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lattin Belle Rogers; her husband, John Edward Logan; her two daughters, Anna Rogers and Diane Logan; and her three sisters, Adele Rogers, Lorraine Cartwright and Josephine Tulloss.
Edna is survived by her son, Vincent Logan of Dayton; sister, Georgia Mae Pankey of Dayton; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Edna will be held Thursday, October 17 at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with her pastor, Rev. Robert Henderson officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Dayton.
The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Thursday, October 17 after 4 p.m.
