The “History of the Eagles” tour stopped in Charlotte, N.C.

The tour is making its way through the Southeast with stops  in Knoxville, Nashville, Charlotte and soon Atlanta.

The Eagles came together in 1971 when Linda Ronstadt’s John Boylan recruited Glenn Frey, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner to back her up on tour. The group also called in Don Henley on drums and The Eagles was born.

Still after 40 years the Eagles continue to sell out venues on their current tour “History of the Eagles”  Don Henley stated last night the tour has had 42 sell out venues including Charlotte.

The non-stop performance except for a brief intermission highlighted the history with chronological songs since their birth in 1971.  Last night included Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Tim Schmidt and  Bernie Leadon.

More information on tour dates are found on their web site. http://www.eaglesband.com/
