Online Degree Program At Bryan Earns National Notice

  • Wednesday, February 13, 2013

Bryan’s online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program has been ranked among the top 15 percent of online undergraduate degree programs in the second U.S. News & World Report survey of these offerings.

Dr. Michael Chase, dean of the School of Adult and Graduate Studies, said he is gratified to see Bryan ranked No. 120 among some 860 programs considered in the ranking survey. “This speaks well of our faculty and the value of the educational opportunity,” he said. “I’m particularly pleased that this recognition comes after only our first full year in operation.”

More than 200 students are enrolled in undergraduate online programs through Bryan, Dr. Chase said. “The attractive feature for the students is that they can attend class at any time from anywhere.

“From the college’s perspective, online programs extend the reach of Bryan to a constituency we would not ordinarily reach.”
