Donna Lynn Maddux, 48, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Thursday night, August 8, 2013 at the home of her sister in Decatur, TN.
Donna was born in Cleveland on July 2, 1965, a daughter of the late Norman Everett Henson. She was of the Christian faith. Donna was a 1983 graduate of Charleston High School. Donna worked for many years with the Bradley County School System. Her most enduring quality however was being a loving wife and mother.
In addition to her father, Donna was preceded in death by one sister, Sheila Kendrick; and one brother, Arnold Henson.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of almost 23 years, Lebron Maddux; one son, Nicholas Maddux; mother, Margaret Kendrick Henson; one sister and brother-in-law Kim & Jerry Millsaps of Decatur; father and mother-in-law, Lynn and Dianna Maddux; special aunts, Janice Kendrick, Linda Murphy and Colleen Carroll; and numerous other extended family members and special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Sunday, August 11 at 4 p.m. at the Kinser Church of God located at 141 Kinser Road SE in Cleveland, with the Reverend Guinn E. Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with Manuel Maddux, Nathan Godfrey, Taylor Lambert, Patrick Eberle, Alan Buchanan and Haley Wilson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 11 at the church from 2-4 p.m.
