Jean M. Logan, 91, died at his home on Lake Chickamauga on November 25, 2014.

He was born in Bradley County, Tn. on July 12, 1923. He graduated from University of Chattanooga, was founder of Logan-Moore, Inc. and Communication Resources. He was a past member of Chattanooga Kiwanis Club, international president of CISCA, past chairman and member of Industrial Development Bond Board, served on the vestry of Grace Episcopal Church and on the board of directors in 1976 that was instrumental in bringing the new Bicentennial Library to downtown Chattanooga.

Mr. Logan was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Air Force in the Asian and European theatres. He was a captain in the Tennessee National Guard for 20 years.

Most of all he was a loving Daddy. He loved his daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, the rest of his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Franklin Logan and Clara Maher Logan; brother, Glenn Logan, brother and best friend, Harold F. Logan, grandchildren, J. Matthew Liner, Zoe Armstrong and Jeremy Kelly. 

He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Liner, Lynda Logan, Tana Logan, Michele Logan-Allen; step-daughter, Neeley Musgrave; son-in-law, Rick Liner; brother, Ronald Logan; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with The Reverend Donald Fishburne officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Kitchen, P.O. Box 11203, Chattanooga, Tn. 37401.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
