John Noles, Steven Grant Are Map Contest Winners; Full-Size Copy Of 1920 Map Available

John Noles and Steven Grant are the winners of the contest for copies of the 1920 city of Chattanooga map.

There were 559 entries.

Chattanoogan.com is making the large full-size version of the map available for sale at $85, plus $5 postage and handling.

The map includes downtown, Signal Mountain, North Chattanooga, St. Elmo, Alton Park, East Lake, Rossville, Missionary Ridge, East Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain.

It includes streets, springs, creeks, railroad and streetcar lines, industries and prominent landmarks.

The map is almost five feet wide and almost three feet high.

The maps will be mailed in a tube and are not framed or matted.
