Scott Payne (Signal Mountain Middle), Mitchell Crispin (McCallie Middle) and Trey Hamilton (Lake Forrest Middle) all were key players that led Darlington U14 Soccer team from Rome, Ga., to the U14A Championship this past weekend in Atlanta.

Darlington went 5-0 with wins over teams from Savannah, Birmingham, Tampa Bay and the Atlanta Area. Crispin led the team with 10 Goals  for the weekend, with a hat trick in the Championship.  Hamilton was a rock in the midfield area and was the key to feeding the ball forward as well as playing solid defense. Payne played solid in the defensive position only allowing two goals to scored against Darlington all weekend and also got into the scoring as well, with a header off a corner kick from Crispin.

Darlington U14 team is currently ranked 4th in Georgia and 78th nationally.
