James Gordon Gore, 70, of Pikeville, TN, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015.
James was employed both with Sell’s Building Supply and with London’s furniture for several years. He enjoyed fishing, taking walks, and riding 4-wheelers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Nellie Gore; and two brothers, Ray and Clarence Gore.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gore; sons, James M. Gore and Elbert Lee Gore; brothers, Robert (Toy) Gore, Lee (Treva) Gore and Elbert Gore; a sister, Martha (John) Jones; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 26, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Freddie Savage officiating. Burial will be in the Beach Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Sunday, January 25.
