CSCC Kimball Site Offering New CAD Course

CAD Engineering Drawing I is the first Engineering Technology class to be offered at the new Chattanooga State Kimball Site for the Spring 2015 semester. DD-114 consists of a two-hour lecture at 4:30 p.m. followed by a three-hour lab on Thursday evenings each week beginning Thursday, Jan. 22.

CAD engineering drawing uses AutoCAD software. The introductory level course is the first one required for an Engineering Technology Associate of Applied Science degree. The course includes scales, sketching of multi-view and pictorial drawings, AutoCAD geometry construction and editing techniques, dimensioning, and plotting.
