Defending D-II AA state champion GPS spotted visiting Harpeth Hall a 2-0 goal lead, then rallied to win 4-3 in overtime Saturday in a state quarterfinal match.

Chattanooga Soccer Strong: Baylor defeated Hutchison, 4-2,earlier today as the two D-II AA Chattanooga schools advance to the Final Four in Murfreesboro with the semis set for Saturday and the finals Saturday.

The Honey Bears’ Ophelia Pilkinton found the back of the GPS net twice in the first 15 minutes for the 2-0 lead, only to have Lane Lawrence (20 th minute) and Keyle Snyder (34 th minute) score goals to even the match before intermission.

Pilkinton made it a hat trick with her third goal in the 71st minute (assist Sydner Webber) to re-gain the lead followed by Snyder’s second goal (assist Kylie Eiselstein) in the 74th minute to force overtime.

Lawrence scored what proved to be the winner in the 95th minute (assist Snyder) and GPS had punched its ticket back to Murfreesboro.

Hat Trick: HH’s Pilkinton scored her first goal when her shot bounced off the hands of Besh … her second goal was unassisted and Pilkinton’s third goal came on a header off a free kick by Sydney Webber
