Arthur Brooks, Sr.

Arthur H. “Pop” Brooks, Sr., 82, Chattanooga native, died on November 22, 2015.  

He was the founder of the world famous Impressions, formerly known as the Roosters. He loved singing, writing songs and was a true entertainer. He served in the United States Navy.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, two sisters and six brothers.

Funeral services will be on Monday, Nov. 30, at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Sunday, Nov. 29, the family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
