Roger Alan Wade & The Last Band
It all began in Brainerd, many years ago. Chattanooga Music Hall of Fame member Roger Alan Wade and his band began playing the haunts in Brainerd decades ago, beginning a legacy that has lasted to this day and has spread throughout the world. With his hits written for Hank Williams, Jr., Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash, Roger Alan Wade may have made a few trips out of Chattanooga, but his heart has always remained here.
Friday night, it comes full circle, as Roger and his band come home to Mayo’s Bar & Grille at 3820 Brainerd Rd. Mayo’s, itself 28 years old, will host a full house. Dignitaries scheduled to attend include Gary “Dr. B” Haskew, Rita Haskew, and Karen Phillips.
Roger Alan Wade, Neal Nichols, and Bob Stagner comprise the Last Band. Show time is 9 p.m. Call 423-624-0034 for reservations.
