Middle Valley Church Of God To Hold Pastor Appreciation Celebration

The Pastor Appreciation committee of Middle Valley Church of God, at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, announces a celebration of the ministry of Pastor Mitch McClure on Sunday

Mr. McClure has served the Middle Valley congregation and community for 19 years, establishing multiple ministry partnerships within the community.  These community partnerships have reached many in the last 19 years for the cause of Jesus Christ. Mr. McClure, an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God, is married to Sherri Parson, formerly of Mosinee, Wisconsin. 

The McClures have two children, Sara Hartman, of Hixson and Lt. Jonathan McClure of Fort Eustis, Va. Mr. McClure has served congregations in Tennessee since 1977. He has served on multiple denominational committees on the district, state, and international levels. He holds a master's of arts with a concentration in pastoral counseling from the Church of God Theological Seminary. He has served in multiple leadership roles in the community including the Hamilton County board of commissioners.

The church and committee invite all to attend this special celebration on Sunday, at 10:30 a.m. with a meal to follow the service in the Family Life Center.
