Martha J. Quinn, 59, of Cleveland, Tennessee, died on Monday, December 28, 2015, after a brave and courageous fight against ALS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Joyce Farmer.
She is survived by her husband and love of her life of 41 years, Dan Quinn; her daughters, Amanda (Bruce) Elliott, and Tessa Quinn (Jeff); her grandchildren, Bailey, Layne, Lauryn, Bianca, Belen and Hayden; her sister, Cris (Larry) Sparks; brothers, Steve (Debbie) Farmer and David (Kathy) Farmer; niece, Kerri Helm; several other nieces and nephews; and special caregivers that supported her and us thru this past year, Darlene Ables, Amanda Martin and Jessica Raspa.
Special thanks to Dr. Alpers and the entire Chattanooga Als clinic along with our Als support team.
Throughout her life she found her joy in raising her family. She was a Girl Scout leader, a two time band mom and a avid supporter of her grandchildren in basketball, wrestling, football, choir and everything they did. She was also a lady Shriner. She loved being on the river camping and fishing. She tirelessly cared for her mother many years. She was the champion of our family and will be missed forever.
