GDOL To Help TiDra Recruit Manufacturing Workers In Dalton

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help a staffing company, TiDra, Inc., recruit 64 workers for two textile manufacturing companies in the Dalton area. The recruitment will be held Monday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the GDOL’s Dalton Career Center, 1406 Chattanooga Ave.

The company is recruiting general laborers to assemble sample displays, stack sample boards, and unpack shelving units.
Applicants must be able to bend, lift, and move up to 35 pounds.


Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Salaries begin at $8.50 an hour. The company will conduct background checks and drug-screening tests on selected applicants.
