Delta Sigma Theta Awards Nearly $10,000 In Scholarships To Chattanooga Students

The Chattanooga Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (DST) and Deltas Serving Together Inc. (DeSTI),  a 501 (C) 3 Foundation, awarded nearly $10,000 to their 2015 scholarship/legacy recipients. The recipients are local high school graduates who will be attending a college/university in the fall. These young scholars are high achieving, academically advanced and actively involved in their school and/or community. 

The 2015 recipients are:  AmBria Davidson, Shania Douglas, Simone Edwards, Orianna Garner, Deja Hambright, Taylor Jackson, Bailey Lowe, Jasmine Pulliam, Taylor Rogers, Nia Sanders, and Aaliyah Walker.

This year’s legacy award recipients are Demetri Bone, Kevin McKenzie and Jessica Tolbert.
