Donald Garrett, 83, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Doris Garrett.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Delores “Dee” Garrett of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Don Allen and Pam Garrett of Dalton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Perry and Glenda Hill of Dalton; two grandchildren, Dawn and Tolley Campbell and Fallon Garrett; and one great-grandchild, Camden Campbell.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Mullis and Rev. Wade Broom officiating. Burial will be in the Grove Level Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Aug. 31 from 4-7 p.m.
