Belvoir Christian Academy Honors Community Heroes

  • Wednesday, September 16, 2015
Belvoir Christian Academy honored the men and women who serve the community by holding a breakfast and chapel dedicated to remembering those who had fallen in the 9-11 tragedy as well as honoring the present-day efforts of East Ridge and Chattanooga police officers, firemen, emergency responders and those who currently serve or are retired from military service.

In addition to the breakfast, attendees took part in a chapel service led by Pastor Mark McCrory of First Lutheran Church and included a musical tribute to the various branches of the military as well as emergency responders.

BCA students honored guests by creating posters to demonstrate their thankfulness to those who put themselves in harm’s way and sacrifice their lives to protect the freedoms of the community. Students, faculty and staff also dedicated special prayers for the continued safety and service of these men and women.
