The Chattanoogan.com Pick 'Em Panel Returns

Giving Our Readers A Chance To Match Up With Our Esteemed Panel Of Pickers

With one more night of the pre-season jamboree remaining and the promise of tailgating parties , along with the precise sounds of snap counts and the pop of pad-on-pad contact on gridirons all across the Tennessee Valley, it can only mean it’s time once again for the Chattanoogan.com Pick ‘Em Panel

Last season ended on a competitive note as WGOW SportsTalk veteran Cowboy Joe Varner mounted a last minute surge to stop a four-peat by The Chattanoogan.com’s James Beach. These two are already talking smack. We’re sure, once again, that our readers are ready to take the top spot in this year’s panel. So, beginning this Sunday, we’ll be giving you the opportunity to match wits with our panel of sports gurus.

On Sundays we will post a form with that week’s highlighted contests. Just click on the link, make your selections and hit submit. We will use a consensus of your picks to form the Readers’ selections. The cut-off for making your picks will be Thursdays at noon.

Returning as our panel of prognosticators, along with Cowboy and Beach, are SI.com’s Pat Benson, the Coca Cola Red Zone/Off the Bench’s Jeff Cate; retired sports casting legend Dave Staley and The Chattanoogan.com’s own Mark “Weeds” Wiedmer and John Hunt.
