Karen Miller Romito, 65, died at her home Saturday, November 26, 2016.

She was born and raised in Knoxville and graduated from Rule High School class of 1969.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Judy Miller, Knoxville; son, Jason Romito, Chattanooga; sister, Mary Kay Miller Duncan, Knoxville; mother and father-in-law, Myrt and Chick Romito, Chattanooga.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Romito, Chattanooga; son, Justin Romito, Seattle, brothers and sisters-in-law, Diane Romito Stone, Cohutta, GA.; Chris and Jill Romito, Chattanooga,  Rusty and Karen E. Romito, Chattanooga, James R. Duncan, Knoxville and a host of precious nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. on TuesdayNov. 29.

A memorial service to celebrate Karen’s life will follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel.

Memorial donations may be made in Karen's memory to Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University Office of Gift Records 1762 Clifton Road N.E., Atlanta, Ga. 30322.
