Evan Massey Gray, 36, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee died peacefully in his sleep, on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at his home.

He was born Aug. 20, 1980, in Chattanooga.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Massey Gray. 

Evan was an avid swimmer and loved to play piano. He enjoyed the Beetles and traveled to London with his dad. He sang in the Chattanooga Boys Choir, and St. Paul’s Choir.  He performed as Oliver at Chattanooga Theater Center.

Survivors include his father, Randy Gray; and sister, Courtney Gray (Scott) Donely; grandmother, Barbara Gray; several uncles, aunts, nephews and cousins

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

The family will receive friends at the church from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday.

Memorial donations may be made in Evan’s name to Friends of Music at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 305 West Seventh Street at Pine, Chattanooga, Tn. 37402.
