Ralph Emerson "Skip" Eddings, Jr.
Ralph Emerson "Skip" Eddings, Jr., 77, passed away on July 14, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Skip was a member of Wesley Way United Methodist Church, McDonough, Ga. Skip graduated from Chattanooga High School. He then achieved his associate's degree. He pursued a career as an aircraft power plant mechanic at Delta Airlines for 32 years.
Skip was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, & friend.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael David Eddings, parents, Ralph Emerson Eddings, Sr., and Virginia Davis Eddings, and brother, Michael Loftin Eddings.
Skip is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Marigail Clark Eddings, son, Allan Lee Eddings (Janet), grandsons, Mathew Allan Eddings (Matilda), Michael David Eddings, granddaughter, Mandy Lynn Clare (Jason), and great-grandchildren, Emma and Brody. He is also survived by two nephews Rich and Andy, a niece Anna Clark Booth, and a host of friends and colleagues who will miss him and loved him dearly.
His family would like to extend a special thanks for the great care provided by Southern Grace Hospice of McDonough, Ga.
A celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 25, at 2 p.m. at Brantley Phillips Home, 2470 Highway 51 S, Hernando, Ms. Rev. David Cox will be officiating. A graveside service will follow at Hernando Memorial Cemetery.
