Lane Kelley Heaton, 70, of Ooltewah, died on Saturday, January 30, surrounded by her loving family.

Lane was a member of the Ooltewah United Methodist Church and was retired from Cobb County Georgia Government. She loved collecting antiques and many other fine collectables.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas C. Leonard, and her second husband, Jack Heaton.

Lane is survived by her daughters, Lyn (Greg) Hammond, and Karen Leonard (Tim) Maxwell; one sister, Janet Kelley; four grandchildren, Shane David Hammond, Shelby Danielle Hammond, Hanna Danielle Maxwell, Landon Scott Maxwell, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 12 p.m. at Ooltewah United Methodist Church with Reverend Dwight Kilbourne officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. CST on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Ashland, Al.
