James Walker
James “Jimmy” B. Walker, Jr., 69, of Palmer, Tennessee, died on March 8, 2016.
Jimmy was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area and was a graduate of Red Bank High School. He later relocated to Palmer, where he remained until his death. He was a car salesman most of his life with different area dealers. Jimmy loved nature and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Kat Walker.
Jimmy is survived by his three children, Jamie and Julie Walker, Thomas “Skip” and Joanna Walker and Shana and Jim Williams; nine grandchildren; sister, Judi and Norfleet Felton; one nephew, Jimmy Norris.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Friday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Graveside services for Jimmy will follow at 2 p.m. on Friday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Reverend Tommy Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jimmy’s name to Savage Gulf or Fall Creek Falls State Parks.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
