Sara Brown
Sara Ann Brown, 83, of Lakesite, died on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Soddy Daisy Health Care Center.
She was a member of Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. Sara had previously worked at DuPont. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed crafts, cooking, sewing, gardening and church activities. Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Irby and Bertha Mauldin.
Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Clarence Brown; sons, Kent Brown (Anne) of Browns Mills, NJ, Scott Brown (Barbara “Bo”) of Chattanooga and Randy Brown (Christal) of Soddy-Daisy; brother, Robert Mauldin of Geraldine, AL; grandchildren, Nicholas, Ian, Sydney and Mallory Brown; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, at 11 a.m. at Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Jim Buttram, Jr. and Reverend Forest Prosser officiating. Burial will follow at Card Cemetery.
There will be a visitation on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. before the service at the church.
