Joshua Brandon Shultz, 27, of Rough and Ready, California, died on July 25, 2016.  

He was an entrepreneur, glass artist, and a humanitarian. Josh had a brown belt in karate and was a certified scuba diver. He attended East Ridge High School and Oneida Baptist Institute. Josh moved to California six years ago. He loved travelling, hiking, camping, fishing and swimming; he loved the outdoors and music.  

He was predeceased by Barbara and James H. Shultz of Chattanooga and uncle, Ken Shultz of Atlanta.

He is survived by his father, Marion Wayne Robertson, of Signal Mountain; mother, Deborah Shultz; son, Aiden Koffa; best companion, Grace; grandfather, John Robertson, Sr.; grandmother, Robbie Robertson; uncle, Dr. John Robertson; cousins, Stephen and Kevin Robertson and Jessica Anderson of Knoxville; aunt, Rosie Shultz; cousins, Robin and Calvin McGaskey, cousins, Roger and Paige Shultz; their son, Ivan Shultz of Alabama, Steven Shultz; his children, Shelby, Savannah and Zachary Shultz of Indiana.

Randy Walworth will conduct a celebration of his life in Boynton United Methodist Church on Sunday, Aug. 7, at 5 p.m. with Maggie Darray music director.  All friends and family are welcome to attend.
