Hillary For Tennessee To Open Chattanooga Office And Participate In Campaign’s National Weekend Of Action

  • Friday, August 5, 2016

Hillary for Tennessee and supporters will open a general election campaign office in Chattanooga on Saturday and participate in the campaign’s national Weekend of Action with a phonebank to call individuals in the state. This event is part of a national weekend of action, where supporters across the country at more than 2,000 events will reach out and talk to individuals in their community about the importance of getting involved in the campaign.

The event will be at 10 a.m.

at 1089 Bailey Ave., Suite C7.

At this event, State Representative JoAnne Favors and Chattanooga City Councilman Chris Anderson will join supporters to open the new office and discuss how attendees can take action with fewer than 100 days to put Hillary Clinton in the White House.  Attendees will make calls to Tennesseans, encouraging them to join the efforts of the campaign and discuss Hillary's ideas for our country and their impact on Tennessee, including the new post-convention announcement of her 100-day jobs plan to build a path to a stronger future for Tennessee’s children and grandchildren.

The office will serve as a hub for organizing activity in Chattanooga to help elect Hillary Clinton and Democrats up and down the ballot in November. Organizers and volunteers will host phone banks, organizing meetings, and canvasses from the office as well as from supporters' homes across the region.
