Mark Hite Installed As GCAR’s 2017 President

  • Wednesday, January 18, 2017

Chattanooga real estate agent and UK Alumnus Mark Hite, was installed as the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors (GCAR) 2017 president on Tuesday, at the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club.

This will be Mr. Hite’s second term as president in only five years.  "One of the reasons I came back was to finish something I'd left undone: cultivating a young, engaged leadership," he said. "We're all young at heart, but we're aging and the future of our industry can be found in the young professionals.

Mr. Hite said GCAR will focus on governmental affairs in 2017. “Your voice matters. The items that impact our clients – the things that affect personal property rights and property values – are our business."

In additional to his involvement in his local association Mr. Hite owns one of the most successful real estate teams in Chattanooga. The Mark Hite Team with Keller Williams Realty closed over 400 units in 2016 resulting in over 72 million in sales volume. His goal for 2017…90 million.
