Scott Turner
Scott Allen Turner, 50, passed away on Saturday, January 28, at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.
He was the son of Rev. Harvey L. Turner, Sr. and Wanda Turner.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, H.H. and Gladys Turner, Arlie and Zelma Carroll, Uncles, Douglas Turner, Bruce and Robert Carroll, and Aunt Gayle Carroll. (Robert’s Wife)
He is survived by his parents, Rev. Harvey L. Turner, Sr. and Wanda Turner; a brother, Harv Turner, Jr. (Wife: Kelley), of Hickory, NC; Nephew, Dillon Turner (Wife: Kristen); Niece, Sara Turner, also of Hickory; Uncle Pelham and Aunt Jan Shoemate of Hixson; Uncle Jim and Aunt Diane Worley of FL; Cousins: Marti Smith, Chad Carroll, Selena Hensley, and Stephanie Lolly, Angie Payne, Lisa Vatter, Teresa Shank, and John Shoemate, Jimmy Turner and Leeann Turner.
Scott was known for his love of music, entertainment, and his incredible sense of humor. He has many, many friends who have loved him and will miss him immensely. He touched a lot of lives and made a lot of people laugh. He will always be known for his incredible ability to encourage and lift others up.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 2, from 5-8 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 3, from 12-2 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson.
Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel on Friday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Harvey L. Turner Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
