The Cleveland wrestling team was voted as the top team in the first state wrestling poll on Monday. McCallie is second and Baylor fifth. Bradley Central and Soddy-Daisy were also in the top 12 teams.
Now in its 26th year, The Poll is primarily a measure of dual meet strength with some consideration to individual tournament strength. Votes are cast by a state-wide panel of high school wrestling coaches and are based on a maximum Power Ranking of 100%.
