Henon, Daniel (Gruetli Laager)

Daniel Henon, 71, of Gruetli Laager, died Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home.

A native of Philadelphia, Pa., he relocated to Gruetli Laager in 1997.  He was a retired project manager from Acme Industrial Piping.  He was preceded in death by his parents:  Daniel B. and Georgina Reid Henon, and a sister:  Maria Henon O’Brien.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Henon;  three sons:  Daniel T. Henon, Sean P. (Rebecca) Henon and Andrew D. Henon; daughter:  Mary Beth Henon; sister:  Carole (Bruce) Henon Jayne; sister-in-law:  Elaine (Eddie) Peters  Gannon;  brothers-in-law: Greg (Rose) Peters, and Jim (Diann) Bailey; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a service of remembrance at 7 p.m. with Jim Bailey Officiating.

In lieu of Flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Ks. 66675-8517.
