Jean Mynatt Dickson, 86, of East Ridge, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at her home.  

She was the daughter of the late Vasco and Lettie Mae Acuff Donehew.  Jean was retired from Erlanger Hospital, Miller Eye Center and was a member of East Ridge Evangelical Church before closing and attended Jones Memorial Methodist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband D.J. Mynatt and daughter Peggy Barnes.

Jean is survived by her children, Cindy Chamberlin, Becky Shank, Elaine (John) Blake and Shirley Huff all of Chattanooga, brother, Paul (Becky) Donehew of Daleville, Virginia, grandchildren, Clyde (Dana) Worley, Tim (Jennifer) Worley, Rick (Teresa) Shank, Joshua (Danielle) Blake, Patrick (Elizabeth Ann) Blake, Mike (Rebecca) Hatfield and Jeannie (Ronnie) Galyon, eight great-grandsons, seven great-granddaughters, two great-great grandchildren, several relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, in the chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Chapel with the Reverend Eric Rieger officiating. Interment will follow the service at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.  

Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home.
