Nancy Ann Crerar Wolfe, 92, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2025. She spent most of her formative years living in the East Brainerd community, having grown up there and raising her two sons there.

Born on July 9, 1933, in Chattanooga, to the late Grant and Lucille Crerar, Nancy was a proud graduate of Tyner High School, Class of 1951. Over the years, she pursued a variety of careers, including roles at Railway Express, Red Food Stores, and later as a compassionate caregiver in nursing homes and private residences.

Nancy was a devoted and longtime member of Concord Baptist Church. She found joy in reading and completing crossword puzzles, hobbies that brought her much happiness.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Grant and Lucille Crerar. Nancy is lovingly remembered by her sons, Rusty Wolfe, Jeffery Wolfe, and Rick Wolfe.

A graveside service to honor Nancy’s life will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery, with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nancy’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation at www.ALZ.org

Nancy’s kindness, dedication, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
