Iva Hambrick
Iva Hambrick, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017.
Born to William Lewis Hambrick and Lena Mae Hambrick on May 1, 1956, in Chattanooga. She grew up in Bosentown and attended Roland Hayes School, graduating from Riverside High School in 1974 and attended Chattanooga State Technical College. She attended New Hope Church of God In Christ, until her illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William Lewis Hambrick and Lena Mae Hambrick; sister Doris Jean Marshall; brother Robert Louis Hambrick Sr.
She is survived by her two sons, Marcell V. Hambrick and Anthony Hambrick Sr., of Chattanooga; three sisters, Anna Pearl Robinson, Mary Knight, Ernestine (Doris) Cagkler, all of Chattanooga; four brothers, Willie Hambrick, Sr. of Chicago, Pastor Walter (Velecia) Hambrick, Sr., Pastor Freddie (Ruby) Hambrick, Sr., Elder Danny (Tonda) Hambrick, all of Chattanooga, Tn; 3 grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10, at 1 p.m. at New Covenant Pure Holiness Church of God, 2421 Glass Street, 37406 with Pastor Freddie L. Hambrick officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday.
