Lee Named NAIA Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award Recipient

SM Lee of Dalton State has been named recipient of the NAIA Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award.

A native of Buford, Ga., Lee won four tournaments this season, including his first career event and the Southern States Athletic Conference. His worst finish in 10 events was tied for sixth. The Southern States Athletics Conference Player of the Year, Lee is also a finalist for the Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award presented by Barbasol.

South Carolina’s Newport Laparojkit, Rowan Lester of Texas Wesleyan, Oklahoma City’s David Meyers, andKeiser’s Cameron Moralee joined Lee on the All-Freshmen Team.
